GOP Rep. Merlin Statzman told Fox News Digital that the recent signal leak wreck was “clearly” wrong, but he expressed confidence in Trump administration national security officials and trusts the president to decide whether or not the outcome should be conveyed.
“Yes, obviously we don’t want those things to happen,” Stottzmann said. R-ind. told Fox News from within Capitol. “We all know that President Trump is America’s first. He supports our military and supports security. So, he is the president of law and order, so we’re going to make sure he takes care of this… he’s the person who makes this decision and supports what he makes.”

Stutzman’s comments were each involved in signal chat leaks in a reported report in which Democrat Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar attempted to present an article on Murders each to national security adviser Michael Waltz and CIA director Secretary John Ratcliffe, respectively.
Trump on Thursday confirmed that multiple employees on the National Security Council had been fired in one of the Air Forces, but added that it wasn’t that many. So far, the results have not been reported to Hegseth, Waltz or Ratcliffe, three of the best officials allegedly taking part in the leaked signal chat.

Republicans said there was no classification material shared or discussed in leaked signal chats, but Democrats argued that the way sensitive information was handled was still “reckless” and potentially illegal, and constituted the need for impact.
But Statsman expressed confidence in the administration’s national security officials and the president, saying that “so far” everyone involved has taken appropriate responsibility and “they will make sure it never happens again.”

“I think they’ll analyze all the communication channels they have,” Stottzmann said. “I think they’ll be sure of this soon, especially in the administration. This will be a top priority for them. We all know that we are always trying to get caught up in conversations with American leaders around the world.
