Two sisters were identified by their family among six victims of the violent and fatal crash crash in Santa Ana over the weekend.

Four victims, mainly teens, were declared dead at the scene, two others were hospitalized, one in a critical state and the other in “significant condition,” authorities said.

Santa Ana Police Department officials responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash at about 11:30pm on April 5 near the intersection of West Segerstrom Avenue and Southtownsend Street.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered six women (five women and one man) in the car at the time of the crash. Their preliminary investigation shows the 18-year-old male driver was moving at high speed west along the Seagers Strom, reportedly missing a turn and crashing into a tree.

At least two casualties were kicked out of the car, causing minor damage to a nearby black sedan, but no one in the latter car was injured.

(County News) On Saturday, April 6, 2025, a violent late-night crash crash in Santa Ana (KTLA) gathered near the crash that killed five people in Santa Ana on April 5, 2025.

Video footage obtained by KTLA shows the aftermath of the crash with a massive law enforcement presence along the Segarthstrom as firefighters rose onto a ladder to access damaged, broken vehicles beyond recognition next to the central tree.

As family and friends grieve, many show respect at the memorial growing up in the crash, Ignacio Robles, the father of two girls involved, lamented the loss of his 19-year-old daughter Aurelia “Aly” Robles.

“She was calm and didn’t talk. She was working and all the money she made, she gave it to her mother,” Ignacio told KTLA’s Chip Yost in Spanish. “She was a good daughter. She loved her mom so much.”

His other daughter, 15-year-old Arlene Robless, survived a catastrophic conflict. She was rushed to the hospital in a state of crisis, still stable.

“They’re going to have her surgery,” Ignacio explained. “She’s been hurt a little, but she’s stable.”

Authorities have not officially disclosed any of the victims’ identities, including another pair of vehicle sisters when the crash was made. A friend who spoke to KTLA said the teenage group was connected through Valley High and Kerr Intermediate Schools in Santa Ana.

“We cannot express the heartbreak and sadness our family is feeling in words,” Jasmine Robless, the two sisters of the victims, wrote in GofundMe, which was organized to help families with funeral costs. “Ali was a bright light in all of our lives. She was loving, kind and full of dreams.”
