Authorities officially released most of the teenage victims’ identities, primarily teenage victims, and were killed in Santa Ana’s horrific and tragic crash.
Santa Ana Police Department officials responded to a report of a violent single-vehicle crash near the intersection of West Segall Strom Avenue and Southtownsend Street at about 11:30pm on April 5, and found six men and five women in the car at the time of the crash.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the driver of the car, now 18 years old, identified as Emmanuel “Manny” Gonzalez Martinez, was traveling at West Segallstrom’s highway when he missed a turn and hit a tree.
At least two victims were kicked out of the vehicle, but it was damaged to the point of not recognizing and had to be accessed by firefighters using ladders.

Those killed in the crash include 20-year-old Aurelia “Arie” Robles, Natalia Vidal Zarate, 17, Jacqueline Torres Zarate, 16, as family and friends grieve, many are honoured at the memorial where they are growing up in the crash location.
The sixth person in the vehicle has not been officially released.
Arlene Robless, 15, the younger sister of Aurelia, the sole survivor of the crash, is still in stable but serious condition, telling KTLA that her father will undergo surgery for the injury when crashed.
A friend of the person on the vehicle told KTLA that the group all knew each other from Valley High and Car Intermediate Schools.
Officials initially said they suspected alcohol and drugs were the factors behind the crash, but Natalie Garcia, a spokesman for the Santa Ana Police Department, told the Orange County Register, but detectives have not confirmed it and said an investigation into the crash was underway.
