The video captured the wild end of the chase when sparks flew from a suspected shooting pickup truck after crashing into multiple vehicles in the San Fernando Valley on Tuesday.
It was unclear when and where the pursuit began, but a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that the suspect was sought in connection with the shooting.
During the pursuit, the suspect was slammed into at least two vehicles near Vanneis Boulevard and Keyen Avenue in Los Angeles’ Pacoima district.
The extent of the injury to the unsuspecting driver was unknown, but an ambulance was requested at the scene.

Meanwhile, the video on the phone showed sparks flying from under the truck as the suspect continued down the street to avoid authorities.
Eventually, the unidentified suspect abandoned the truck and tried to escape from the officers on foot, but was taken into custody in San Fernando, freelance media company RMG News reported.
No details regarding the initial filming survey were provided.
