Exclusive: Freshman GOP Rep. Gabe Evans revealed how the Fox News Digital Republicans carried, what happened, and what happened, and what happened 90 days after the new session in Congress, what just happened.

“Obviously, the Republican Conference came together three times and three times to do what all experts said wouldn’t happen,” Evans told Fox News Digital this week.

“We had speakers on the first vote and people said they couldn’t do that. We passed a settlement resolution from home, and people said it would be a long shot.

Evans said he believes success will “continue to breed success.”

“I think it’s laying the foundation for an absolutely amazing foundation for us to actually provide the big things we need to offer, especially in terms of cost of living and affordability,” Evans said.

Evans, a former National Guard captain and former police officer, was elected to Congress in November, defeating incumbent Yadira Caraveo in Colorado’s 8th Congressional District.

Evans told Fox News Digital that over the past three months he has been extremely “excited” to tackle issues he has campaigned for, including securing borders, ending the “fentanyl tragedy” and lowering crime rates.

“It was really rewarding to find and stop police, like passing the Stop Fentanyl Act from US homes, introducing my bill, the uplifting law, unlocking police, finding and stopping foreign offenders, leading to the sanctuary, like local law enforcement like Colorado and sanctuary like Sanctuary, like Sanctuary, like Sanctuary, it was really rewarding to find and stop police, like the crime from the community.

Evans, who has introduced six bills since becoming a member of Congress, said he looks forward to continuing the moving forward legislation, including the bipartisan Medicare and the Medicaid Fraud Prevention Act and the Uplift Act.

Over the next few months, Evans told Fox News Digital that his members of Colorado hope Congress will focus on issues such as cost of living.

“We just did the town hall earlier this week. Over 8,500 people dialed in and stayed in line for that town hall. “So, by being able to cut off some of the absolute punitive red tapes that have a particular impact on my district, such as air quality permits, energy production, and more, that cost of living relief can be achieved.”

Evans told Fox News Digital that Republicans will also continue to tackle crime and illegal immigration.

“In the crime field, what we’re actually seeing right now is the priorities of the new administration and Congress and the push-pull between states like Colorado and states like Denver,” Evans explained. “So Denver’s homicide rate in 2024 was twice that of San Francisco. Colorado has once again ranked number one in the country, and for the last five years there are two due to the car theft rate.

“Under this new administration of Congress, the federal government is suddenly back in business and doing their part. The borders are secured. The border crossings are at historic minimums and there are federal law enforcement agencies.
