President Donald Trump is heading to get his annual physical Friday after he declared earlier this week that he “never feels good.”
The 78-year-old announced his medical appointment on his true social accounts, saying, “I am pleased to report that my long-term annual physical examination will be taking place this Friday at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
“I’ve never felt better, but nonetheless, I have to do these things!” Trump added.
The physical one, which takes place early Friday afternoon in Bethesda, Maryland, comes less than a year after Trump survived an assassination attempt in Pennsylvania during the advances in his campaign.

At the time, Trump published a letter from former doctor Ronnie Jackson. He wrote, “It’s an absolute miracle that he wasn’t killed.”
“The bullet passed and hit the top of my right ear less than a quarter of an inch since it got into my head,” Jackson added.
A few months later in November, Florida neurosurgeon Dr. Brett Osborne told Fox News Digital that Trump was still healthy.

President Trump survived an attempted assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania in July 2024.
“The fact that he attended 120 events in seven months is often multiple rallies in different states in a day, and it’s a positive evidence that Trump has an incredible amount of stamina, both mentally and physically,” Osborne noted.
However, Democrats have challenged Trump’s health in the past, and medical members have requested that Trump release his medical records. In an open letter starting October 13th, more than 230 doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals sought a record-breaking release.
The physical one on Friday will be the first of Trump’s first term in office.

In 2020, during his first administration, Trump received Covid-19 treatment at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
