Trump Prosecutor Alina Haba begins an investigation into New Jersey Governor Murphy over reported ice orders

President Donald Trump’s longtime lawyer and New Jersey appointee announced Thursday that he would begin an investigation into Gov. Phil Murphy and Attorney General Matt Platkin over reports that state police were asked to ignore new immigration warrants.

Alina Habba has decided to begin an investigation following the New Jersey State Police (NJSP) Colonel’s internal memo in “Hannity” that revealed that an internal memo from the New Jersey State Police (NJSP) has ordered that Murphy and Platkin do not pursue the thousands of immigration warrants added to the National Crime Information Center.

The move reportedly was intended to coincide with the 2018 “Immigration Trust Order” of former Attorney General Gurbir Growal.

“We know that the governor on his website currently has DOS and DOS for local law enforcement agencies. These DOS and DOS are directing not to cooperate with illegal immigrants who have administrative warrants issued by the court after legitimate proceedings,” Habba says.

NJ Gov says he “fights death” against Trump’s actions that he thinks are “opposed to his values”

“We are instructing them to go against our federal rules, our executive orders.”

She said that if a new investigation into Murphy and Platkin interferes with the FBI, DEA, or other federal law enforcement, they should warn all other state leaders that they will be accountable.

“[W]E is to take all criminals, violent criminals, criminals from this country and fully enforce federal law. And anyone who gets in the way of what we’re doing – it’s not political, it’s merely against crime – in New Jersey, accused of obstruction for cover-up, and I get fierce after them. ”

Haba, whose office is based in Newark, said he met with state law enforcement on Thursday, saying he doesn’t have the same authority as federal officials, but they still can legally notify U.S. immigrants and customs enforcement agencies to hand over or warn them of immigration-related investigations.

“If someone uses politics or its position to violate federal law or executive orders in this state and includes a sanctuary city, if you are looking at you in Paterson, I will investigate you. If you commit a crime, if you order obstruction, if you are cover-up and embrace, you will be charged.”

Fox News Digital reached out to Murphy of Platkin and Paterson in New Jersey and reached Democrat Mayor Andre Sayegh for comment.

Sayegh recently caused a political wave last month when he declared Paterson the “Palestinian capital” of America. The city has a large population of Muslims and Arabic.

Murphy recently proposed that he was housed immigrants in his Monmouth County home and dared Trump to do something about it.

In February he said he and New Jersey first lady Tammy Murphy were talking about “someone in our wider universe, not yet at the point they were trying to get it.”

“And we said, what do you know? Let her live in our house above our garage,” Murphy said.

“Good luck with the federal government coming to try and get her.”

Fox News Digital has contacted the NJSP for notes on Murphy’s ordering and details of its actions.
