President Donald Trump issued a Palm Sunday message at the start of Holy Week, which renewed the administration’s promise to protect Christian faith in our schools, military, workplaces, hospitals and government halls.
“We will never waver in protecting our right to religious freedom, protecting the dignity of life, and protecting God in our public square,” Trump was announced by the White House in the President’s message for Holy Week 2025.
“As we focus on Christ’s redemption sacrifice, we turn to his love, humility, and obedience. Even in the most difficult and uncertain moments of life,” “This week we pray for the pouring of the Holy Spirit into our beloved kingdom. We pray that America will remain a sign of faith, hope and freedom of the whole world, and to achieve a future that reflects the truth, beauty and goodness of Christ’s eternal kingdom in heaven.”

“May God bless you and your family during this special time, and may he continue to bless the United States of America,” Trump wrote.
Trump and first lady Melania Trump will join in prayer with Christians to “celebrate the crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The President’s message has repeatedly said that Holy Week will “begin to Christ’s victory in reaching Jerusalem on Palm Sunday,” and “topping the pinnacle” at Pascal Three Duum “starting with the Lord’s Dinner Mass on Holy Thursday and followed by Good Friday.” This week will reach the “top of Easter vigils on a holy Saturday night.”
“This week is a time of reflection for Christians to commemorate Jesus’ crucifixion and prepare their hearts, hearts and souls for a miraculous resurrection from death,” Trump wrote.
“During this sacred week, we acknowledge that the glory of Easter Sunday cannot come without the sacrifices that Jesus Christ made on the cross,” the president said. “In his last time on earth, Christ willingly endured the unbearable pain, torture and execution on the cross from his deep and enduring love for all his creation. Through his suffering, we are forgiven our sins through his death.

“On Easter morning, the stones roll down, the graves are empty, and the light spreads through the darkness. Death means he has no last words,” Trump said.
Since surviving the July 2024 assassination attempt at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, Trump has admitted his faith in the campaign trail, and has held his second term in office by repeatedly asserting that he was “saved by God to make America great again.” On Friday, the White House hung a painting depicting a bloody Trump doing his first pumping in the air during that attempt in his life last summer, replacing a portrait of former President Barack Obama.
