White House doctor Sean Barbabera released a memo on Friday detailing President Donald Trump’s annual physical physics results, writing that the president is in “good health.”
Trump demonstrates “robust heart, lungs, neurology, and general bodily functions,” writes Barbabera. “His active lifestyle continues to contribute significantly to his well-being.”
“President Trump’s days include attending multiple conferences, public appearances, news availability and frequent victory at golf events,” he continued. “President Trump exhibits excellent cognitive and physical health and is perfectly suited to carry out the duties of a commander and head of state.”
According to Barbabella’s memo, physical diagnosis and clinical testing are included. The doctor also consulted with 14 specialized consultants, he added.
In a diagnosis summary, Barbabella pointed to Trump having scars to the right from the shooting injury, referring to an attempt to assassinate the president of Butler, Pennsylvania last summer.
The note said Trump’s heart, lungs, eyes, hearing and abdominal test results were all normal. Dermatology exams revealed “several small sun damage and some benign lesions,” the memo said.
The president also underwent a “comprehensive neurological test,” which showed no abnormality, Barbabera wrote.
Trump has completed the Montreal Cognitive Assessment. It is a common screening tool for cognitive impairment that usually takes around 10 minutes, and achieved normal results with a score of 30 out of 30, Barbavera said.
The memo also showed that Trump has lost 20 pounds since it was last physically released in 2020. The memo said the president weighed 224 pounds.
The president’s medications listed in the note include cholesterol medications and aspirin for cardiac disease prevention, as well as topical steroid creams needed for the skin.
