Video of President Donald Trump snubbling actress Sheryl Hines, who is married to Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., in a Saturday evening UFC game, is spreading like a wildfire on social media, but doesn’t show the entire story.
“This is a clickbait. He’s back to her,” former senior RFK Jr. Advisor Link Lauren posted on X, showing a photo of Trump chatting with HHS secretary and Cheryl Hines during a UFC match.
Trump joined the UFC game in Miami with members of the cabinet on Saturday night, and was seen shaking Kennedy’s hand after entering the arena, but it appeared she was ignoring greeting Hines even as she reached out to shake hands. Hines had taken her hand as Trump moved to greet other attendees.

The exchange video has attracted hundreds of thousands of viewers and generated headlines both in the US and abroad, speculating that the president “snabbed” Hines.
“What Cheryl Hines is blown away by President Trump’s handshake is just missing curb theme music,” one user posted to X, referring to Hines, who appears on the hit show “Curb Your Everism.”

Hines spokesman Anne Glorra told Fox Digital on Sunday that she would not attend the event and could not comment, but based on the report, Trump returned to wave Hines’s hand and added that Trump’s video appears to be sniffing Hines. Administration officials added in comments to Fox Digital on Sunday that the president failed to sniff Hines.

Fox Digital got another photo showing Trump talking to Hines and others ahead of the UFC fight on Saturday.

X users also share footage and screenshots, indicating that Trump was chatting with both Kennedy and Hines, and that he had circling to talk to the couple.

“President Trump spoke with Cheryl Hines at UFC 314 last night. There have been several reports that Trump may have ‘snabbed’ Hines (RFK JR’s wife) at the event, but the footage below shows that he has not been posted with video footage where he talks to Hines.
“No, President Trump did not ‘snab” RFK Jr’s wife, Sheryl Hines. He wasn’t looking at her hands. I came back after greeting Joe Rogan and Daniel Cormier as you can see in the photo below,” another X user posted.

The report comes after Hines previously criticised Trump and his rhetoric as “silly and rude,” but has since her husband supported Trump in the summer, he has been involved in Trump-related events at the María Lago and the White House, eventually becoming his HHS chief.
