Police say people died in a head-on collision late Saturday night in Fullerton.
A press release from the Fullerton Police Department said in a report of two vehicles collisions at 10:50pm that officials were dispatched to the 600 block of West Commonwealth Avenue.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a 2004 Toyota Corolla and a 2009 Lexus RX350 with significant front-end damage.
Both vehicles have now rested in the middle of the road, FPD said.
Responding paramedics rushed both drivers to a local trauma center, where the Toyota driver died.
Their identity has not yet been released by the Orange County Coroner’s Office.

The condition of the Lexus driver has not been revealed.
“A preliminary investigation revealed that Gold Toyota was moving west across West Commonwealth Avenue and Lexus East in the West Federation when Toyota caused a head-on collision towards the eastbound lane,” Fullerton police said in a press release issued Sunday morning. “At this stage of the investigation, it is unclear whether alcohol or drugs are driver-related factors.”
