Amy Lowood wasn’t amused by the “White Lotus” parody of “SNL.”
The April 12 episode of the NBC series featured a political sketch entitled “The White Potus.” This sketch looked like a similar outfit to the one cast member Sarah Sherman had caused British actress character Chelsea and sported on the HBO Max Show.
Speaking earlier about being bullied on her teeth, Wood wrote on her Instagram story on April 13th, “I found the meaning of SNL and the unjust XO.”
Several fans deposed her to express their support. “I agree – everyone else in that parody was a politician who was being oc-laughed,” one person wrote in a message shared by the actress. “The only character that wasn’t political was Chelsea, and they obviously removed the p– from your appearance/accent.”
Wood, who is from Manchester, England, wrote in another post, “At least I get a serious accent. I respect accuracy even if it’s mean.”
The 31-year-old also said, “Yes, I’ll take the P – certainly – that’s the purpose of the show, but it must be smarter, more subtle and less expensive?”
The actress later shared the update, saying, “Apologising from ‘SNL’. “It writes.

Sherman appeared in sketches with several “SNL” co-stars, including James Austin Johnson, who recreated President Donald Trump’s recurring role. The episode’s celebrity host, John Hamm, parodied both Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Chelsea partner Rick.
“I have these insane ideas, like if I had all the fluoride removed from drinking water,” the RFK Jr. character from Ham tells the Shaman character. “But what does that do to people’s teeth?”
The “SNL” actress responds, “Fluoride? What is it?”
Wood was chatting with “White Lotus” viewers on her teeth last month.
“The big thing for me was my mouth,” Lou Wood shared on her Instagram video on March 3rd.
A few weeks later, the “sex education” graduate retold the public scrutiny in her mouth. “It’s hard to believe my teeth are shocking,” she said in her March 22nd appearance on the British talk series, The Jonathan Ross Show. “Because Americans can’t believe it, but they’re all lovely.”
She noted that orthodontists are sharing a video analyzing her bite.
“They dissect my teeth and say what’s wrong with them,” she explained. “But when I go to the end, I’m like, ‘But she doesn’t think she should change things.’ It makes the real perfect moment after being bullied for my teeth so lovely. ”
After the crowd laughed, she added, “Now people are banging the audience, so I have these ganashers.”
