Katy Perry will shoot in the sky with more stars from Gale King, Lauren Sanchez and Blue Origin’s historic all-female rocket launches.

According to the website, on Monday, April 14th, a group of celebrities will have the opportunity to gain a different perspective on Earth when they board the 11th human flight of a space technology company called the NS-31.

“I talk to myself every day. “You’re brave. You’re bold. You’re doing this, but inspires young girls in particular.”

According to Blue Origin, the upcoming trip will be the first trip since 1963, marking the year when Valentina Tereshkova became the first woman to travel to space. She completed the mission solo.

What is the new Shepherd Mission NS-31?

The next new Shepherd mission from Blue Origin, called the NS-31, will soon be released with an entire female crew. The space technology company founded by Jeff Bezos lifts it out of Texas.

NBC’s Priscilla Thompson spoke about upcoming flights in the segment today Sunday. “An 11-minute ride will not achieve orbit, but will send crews passing by the Kalman Line, the informal boundary of space,” she explained.

Thompson added that the journey is about four minutes long and passengers will experience “gravity zero.”

According to its website, 52 people were flying a blue origin flight above the Kalman Line before its release.

When is the Blue Origin lift-off?

The latest new Shepherd Mission will explode from West Texas release site 1 on Monday, April 14th. According to the Blue Origin website, the startup window times are 9:30am EST from 9:30am.

Six women traveling on NS-31 are singer Katy Perry, journalist Gayle King, film producer Kerianne Flynn, entrepreneur and civil rights activist Amanda Nguyen, aerospace engineer Aisha Bowe, pilot, journalist and author Lauren Sánchez and Beyzos’ Fiancée.

Prior to the flight, Blue Origin posted a photo of the mission patch on Instagram on April 12th. “Each of the new Shepherd Mission has a story,” the caption said. The patch includes elements that nod to each woman on board, like Perry’s fireworks and a shooting star microphone for King.

The account also uploaded photos of six women posing together in blue origin designer space suits. “Welcome to West Texas, NS-31 crew!” the caption said.
