Democrat New York State Rep. Tom Suzzi argued that the allegations that illegal aliens are voting in state elections were “mythology” and “completely inaccurate,” pointing to the arguments of Elon Musk, who argued that Democrats in states like New York and California engaged in a strategy of “turning” illegal aliens into “registered voters” a few weeks ago.
“i don’t want [noncitizens to vote in U.S. elections]. It’s actually the myth of Elon Musk [said] On a show he was talking about non-citizen votes in New York – that’s not true,” Szzi told a reporter for Capitol Hill.
This issue came just before Suozzi voted against the Asefeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act. Suozzi voted in favor of the legislative measure that banned non-citizen votes in his local DC elections at his final legislative meeting.

“That’s a real lie,” Suzzi said of Musk’s claim of a non-citizen vote in New York before stepping into the Capitol building.

Liberal areas, including New York City, have become flashpoints amid debates over non-citizen votes.
In January 2022, the ordinance passed by the City Council of New York City attempted to allow green cardholders, DACA recipients and other non-US citizens living in New York to vote in city elections. But the controversial action lasted only about six months before the court shot it down, and last month the state court of appeals upheld the move.

“Why did the Democratic propaganda machine get fired so much to destroy me? The main reason is that its qualification fraud for illegal aliens. It acts as a huge magnetic force to attract people from all over the world and keep them here.” “If you end an illegal alien scam, turn that magnet off and they’re leaving… and if it’s a massive thing, they lose a ton of Democrat voters.”

Musk’s debate about Logan’s podcast tried to highlight the views of many Republicans about Democrats’ efforts to increase the number of Democratic-friendly voters.
“They’re already turning them around, so in New York, illegal aliens can already vote in state and city elections. Many people don’t know that,” Musk added. “They’re trying to stop that, but I think 600,000 people are currently registered to vote in New York.”
Musk also cited California. In California, non-citizens in San Francisco and Oakland can vote in local school board elections. In addition to California, only Maryland and Vermont have jurisdictions that noncitizens can vote, according to Ballotpedia.

“I don’t accuse him of lying. He’s doing a lot, so I just say he’s completely inaccurate,” Suzzi told Fox News Digital. “He spread it like the gospel and pisses all these people behind the complete forgery.”
Suozzi pointed out how Musk is a prominent figure. Many Americans are looking for guidance, saying it is important for people to understand the facts of the matter when it comes to non-citizen voting.

The need to be wary and continue to be educated about this topic was echoed by the mask during his appearance with Logan.
“I invite people to do research,” Musk told Logan when he told Logan how fascinating it is that people are unaware of the scenario Musk is discussing. “The more they research, the more they will see what I am saying is absolutely true.”

White House spokesperson Liz Houston commented on Suozzi’s comments on Musk’s claims about non-citizen votes in New York and elsewhere, adding that non-citizen votes are “a very real issue” and “otherwise it’s paranoid and lying.”
“He has ignored the facts and has chosen to pander to his far left base at the expense of the truth,” added Mike Marinella, a spokesman for the National Republican Congressional Committee.
