Entertainment icons and stars have once again been given the opportunity to be commemorated forever as part of the industry’s most timeless tribute, with the Hollywood Walk of Fame accepting nominations for the class of 2026.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has officially accepted the 2026 Hollywood Walk of Fame Class nominations and has announced that a submission deadline has been set on May 15th.

The Walk of Fame Committee will meet in June and consider the six categories covered: film, television, recording, radio, live theater/performance, sports entertainment.

The latest entertainment pioneer to have a unique star in the fame of walking will be announced in June or July, with the stars being announced next year.

“The Walk of Fame Committee has chosen an elite personality group to become our latest Famers walk and keeps Hollywood the most famous landmark in the world,” said Ana Martinez, producer of the Walk of Fame Ceremony.

“This is an easy way to nominate your favorite celebrities and clients with permission,” Martinez added.

Agents seeking to nominate clients or fans seeking to acquire their favorite performers must submit a written consent form by the candidate and an application fee of $275 by noon on May 15th.

Additionally, the application requires a photograph of the candidate, a brief biographies, a list of professional qualifications, a record of “Community and Civic Engagement” and a promise by the living candidate to attend the ceremony if selected.

Posthumous candidates must wait at least two years, organizers said.

The committee selects around 24-30 winners per year, and says anyone who fails to bid must resubmit it to be considered the next cycle.
