Former President Joe Biden took a shot with the Trump administration’s Social Security policy in his first major speech since leaving the White House on Tuesday evening.
“Seriously, people are truly worried that Social Security benefits could be delayed or suspended for the first time in history, for the only time in history,” Biden said from advocates, counselors and representatives of the ACRD Conference held in Chicago on Tuesday evening.
“Ninety years later, people have been constantly undergoing Social Security checks since Franklin Roosevelt created the Social Security system. They acquired them during the war, during the recession, and during the pandemic.
The ACRD Conference was billed as the 46th President’s first public speech since leaving the White House. However, Biden has been in other official duties since January 20th, Fox Digital has not attracted media attention, including speaking in front of the National High School Model United Nations in March, and attended this month’s International Brotherhood Electrical Workers Event.
According to its website, ACRD is an advocacy organization that works to equip disability professionals with tools, technology and training to advance the industry.

The Trump administration took office as part of its mission to reduce government fat and bureaucracy, cutting around 7,000 Social Security Bureau staff since reorganizing institutions with an “America First” policy. Democrats denounced President Donald Trump for cutting, claiming he would cut Social Security benefits to older people.
The White House repeatedly rejected the Trump administration’s claims to cut such profits, vowed to “constantly protect” Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid benefits.

“My friend, Governor O’Malley, knows what they’re really doing, he says, and I love his quote. They can take it away.
“What they always do… by running the debt of the people, number one. And by taking money from elsewhere. What are the two big money in the raw numbers? Social Security and Medicaid. … Republicans, who do they think to make sure that these people willingly hurt the middle and working classes and deliver a fair, greater wealth to the already wealthy?” he said.
