Many major restaurants and retailers offer deals and giveaways in honor of Tax Day, hoping to ease our financial stress with donuts and cheeseburger markdowns. This year, offers include By One cookie cake, discounted mozzarella sticks and a pizza “refund” voucher.

Great American Cookies is offering a 1-to-1 cookie cake slice purchased on April 15th. Please mention the offer at checkout. Krispy Kreme offers taxpayers an additional deduction by offering 12 original Grace Donuts at the state sales tax price alone, but only if they first purchase 12 original or as a variety of donuts in the store. Burger King offers Royal Parks members a 1-cent cheeseburger, and purchases a total of more than $1 in participating restaurants. This offer is available at restaurants on the BK App and Burger King website for pre-orders online, but not in Alaska, Hawaii or US territories. Casey’s is offering reward members who purchase big pizzas on April 15th a “pizza refund” in the form of a free big one-top pizza credited to their account. Refunds can be redeemed at any time until May 6th. BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse will be offered to customers from $40 to $10 purchases when using the promo code 10OFF40 at checkout. This offer is valid only for tax-only meals, take-out and delivery. Only on April 15, participating Hooters restaurants are offering customers a selection of appetizers selected for $4.15 (including mozzarella sticks, buffalo shrimp, and more) by applying daily tax compensation to Hooters at check-out. At Shake Shack, customers can get a complimentary black truffle burger (single), black truffle’s shroom, or black truffle Parmesan fries. This offer is valid until April 27th. Potbelly offers a free original sandwich by purchasing another large or original sandwich on April 15th. 7-Eleven offers exclusive tax day contracts via the 7Now app. Customers can earn $10.40 on orders over $20 on code depreciation. Buffalo Wild Wings reward members will get free sandwiches on a minimum order of $15 throughout April as part of the chain’s free trading month.
