Police were forced to escort at least six people from the town hall owned by GOP Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green on Tuesday night, and deploy Taser to two individuals.
Reporters on the ground at the Georgia event showed that within minutes at least six protesters had been escorted from the city hall. According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, three individuals were ultimately charged by police for their involvement in the confusion.
“Law your hands behind your back!” Police officers can hear on video of the incident shared on social media by CBS news reporter Jared Eggleston. “f —off-” can be heard screaming as the man disappears off-screen behind a wall.

Shortly afterwards, we heard a second bang from another Taser.

The suspect, who was tasseled by police, can be seen brawling with officers before deploying the stun gun twice.
Various videos from the event show that several others are being escorted.
“Free Garcia,” one protester could be heard saying he was leaving in a video posted to X. Kilmer Abrego Garcia was at the heart of deportation theory after a federal judge said he accidentally expelled him in a group of Venezuel gang members.
“Free Kilmer!” Another person could hear them screaming repeatedly in the video as they were escorted.

At a moment, Greene was involved with the destroyer as police escorted the protesters from the city hall.
“The protest is outside. Thank you,” Green said. “If you sit and listen, you’re welcome to listen. Everyone in the aisle – Democrats, independents,” she added while someone was being escorted.
“I’m glad they were dumped,” Green said following the event. “That’s exactly what I wanted to see… this is not a political gathering or a protest. I held City Hall tonight. Do you know who was in line? Protesters.”
The disruption at Green’s rally follows an increase in volatility at local GOP town halls. Things are tense enough, and Rep. Richard Hudson, chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee, told RN.C. to temporarily refrain from in-person town hall events.

Citing the rise in “the threat of Democratic violence,” GOP Wyoming Rep. Harriet Hageman has followed Hudson’s advice and moved all of her in-person town halls online. The move comes after an incident in which one attendee of her in-person event followed Hageman and ultimately demanded that police intervene when she left and began a physical conflict with her staff.
According to NBC News, Green was just one of the GOP members who decided to hold an in-person event amid ongoing legislative breaks.
