Police searched for a hit-and-run driver injured after attacking a bike in Huntington Beach over the weekend and called on people for help.
The crash was reported in the Arnet Drive and Irby Lane areas around 11pm on Saturday.
The unidentified bicycle was “severely injured after being attacked by a minivan,” the Huntington Beach Police Department said in an Instagram post.
The driver, known as a Hispanic man between the ages of 20 and 30, fled the scene without providing assistance or information, police said.
The image, shared by the Huntington Beach Police Department, shows the vehicles sought after in a hit-and-run collision.
The vehicle was called a metal grey, silver or blue minivan. Police believe it could possibly be a Toyota Sienna or Honda Odyssey with a California license plate, but it could include characters 7, T, A, E, but not necessarily in that order.
Investigators believe the vehicle will cause moderate front-end damage to the bumper, hood and windshield.
