The 16-year-old from Downey has been missing for over six weeks, and concerns continue to grow due to his safety.
On Wednesday, National Missing & Exploited Children released information to the public about the disappearance of Justin Tran, a national nonprofit that helps the community find missing children and raise awareness about child abuse and abortion cases.
Tran went missing from Downey’s home on March 7, officials said, and his father told NCMEC that no one had heard of him since.

Justin is said to be 5 feet 11 inches tall and 140 pounds with brown eyes and dark hair.
Officials tell NCMEC that Tran may still be in the area, but there are concerns that he traveled to San Diego County or Indianapolis, Indiana.
