First on FOX: The Republican National Committee (RNC) will quickly come out of the gate when it comes to fundraising.
The RNC reports $56.1 million hauls for fundraising between January and March 2025 as the Nationalist Party committee builds resources for next year’s medium-term elections and defends the majority of the House and Senate.
The RNC first shared that figure with Fox News on Thursday, saying the haul was a record for the first quarter of the election year.

“The RNC is taking hands with President Trump and the White House to replicate his historic success in 2024,” RNC’s Michael Whatley said in a statement.

And looking forward to mid-term next year, Whatley said, “We are building the breasts of war to expand the Republican majority in 2026 and ensure that the President has all the tools needed to make America great again.
As Fox News reported last month, Vance was elected the RNC’s finance committee chair. Vance is considered the frontrunner for the 2028 GOP presidential nomination in the race to take over Term-restricted Trump, and is the first sitting vice president to serve as the Nationalist Party Committee’s finance committee chairman.

“The RNC has already done an incredible job in its mission to build on President Trump’s historic victory this November,” Vance emphasized in a statement.
Was this month’s elections in Wisconsin and Florida a crystal ball for things to come in the midterm next year?
“Republicans have an incredible opportunity to look for 2026, where they can continue to have strong momentum, grow the majority and move forward with President Trump’s first American agenda,” the vice president added. “We are honored to be at the forefront of this effort and look forward to working in the future.”
