First on FOX: Top House Republicans are leading the official responsibilities of the Biden administration’s gun control policy on Thursday.
“They are introducing resolutions denounce the former Democratic president while celebrating the current White House,” said Roger Williams, R-Texas, chairman of the House Small Business Committee. [Americans’] Constitutional freedom. ”
The resolution is supported by at least 14 fellow House Republicans in Williams.

“For too long, the Biden administration and radical leftists have put an extremely long effort into criminalizing law-abiding gun owners, putting the second amendment at risk,” he told Fox News Digital about the law.
“My resolution reaffirms Congress’s support for the Second Amendment and praises President Trump’s actions to protect American gun owners by dismantling Biden’s violations on constitutional freedom.”
Shortly after Attorney General Pam Bondy was sworn in, President Donald Trump ordered a 30-day review to begin to find “ongoing infringement” of the federal government’s second amendment.

Just a month later, Bondy commissioned a new second amendment task, “combining department-wide policy and litigation resources to promote President Trump’s pro-gun agenda and protect gun owners from overreach,” she said.
This month’s DOJ also abolished the Biden-era “zero tolerance” policy with alcohol, cigarettes, firearms and explosives, and revoked licenses from firearm dealers who “willfully” violate existing rules. However, gun rights groups argued that the rules place an undue burden on firearm dealers for committing unintended paperwork errors.

According to legislative text obtained by Fox News Digital, the GOP resolution “disapproves the Biden administration’s gun control agenda and hostility towards the legitimate gun industry.”

It also “admires Trump’s actions to abolish the harmful policies imposed by the Biden administration on law-abiding firearm owners (sic) and praises President Trump’s commitment to supporting the constitution and defending his constitutional right to possess arms.”
The resolution is also supported by the National Rifle Association and has been introduced to coincide with the second amendment date on Thursday.
