Police responded to reports of active shooters on Florida State University campus in Tallahassee on Thursday, officials said.
The University of X’s FSU Alert Account said the report was in the student union field.

People in the area were told to evacuate while police responded.
“Be prepared to stay away from all doors and windows and take additional protection measures,” the alert read.
Officials with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement also said they are responding to the campus.
FDLE is actively engaged in incidents on FSU’s campus and will update the public with more information as soon as possible.
