A child predator was arrested during an undercover investigation in Riverside County.
The suspect was identified as Ryan Hagen, 45, of Anaheim, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
In April 2025, deputies from the Perris Bureau began an online undercover investigation, pretending to be a 13-year-old girl.
Over weeks of online communication with Hagen, the agent said he sought sexually satisfying photographs and numerous sexual acts before agreeing to meet in person.
On April 16th, he was located in Redland and was taken into custody. Authorities said several communications devices were also found during his arrest and collected as evidence.
Hagen was arrested for attempting to indecency with the minor with the intent to meet with the minor, contacting the minor with the intention of committing sexual activity, displaying and sending harmful material to the minor, and for attempting to indecency with the minor. He is being held on $55,000 bail.
No further details have been announced.
