President Donald Trump said the late President Jimmy Carter could die peacefully after learning that he was not the worst US president.
Trump issued a statement to reporters at a press conference with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, who visited the White House on behalf of European countries to help mediate trade agreements between the US and the European Union.
“The worst administration in our country’s history,” Trump said Thursday. “Worse than Jimmy Carter. Jimmy Carter died of a happy man. Why do you know? He wasn’t the worst. President Joe Biden was.”

Trump is routinely groomed for Biden and the former president’s mental fitness, and this statement coincides with several books detailing Biden’s cognitive function during his tenure. A White House aide said staff members had quarantined Biden and his faculty allowed the book to “shrink.” It was released on April 8th.
A Biden spokesman did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.
Trump’s comments come days after Biden denounced the Trump administration for creating so many “damages” early in his administration.

“In less than 100 days, this administration has done so much damage and so much destruction, and it’s breathtaking that happens quickly,” Biden said in his first public speech on Tuesday. Biden gave a speech at the Disability Advocacy Conference in Chicago.

On Thursday, Trump and Meloni said they are confident that the US and Europe can take away their trade deals. Trump announced a 20% tariff on European Union goods that enter the US on April 2, but he announced on April 9 that it would remain at 10% for 90 days to allow the US and the EU to make transactions.
“The trade contract is 100%,” Trump told reporters. “Of course there are trade contracts. They want to make so much. We have trade contracts. I’m totally hoping for that, but it’s going to be fair.”
