Secretary of State Marco Rubio indicated that within days it would be necessary to decide whether achieving a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine is “short-term viable,” and warned that he would think “move ahead” if the US cannot achieve it.
Rubio said if that’s “impossible,” President Donald Trump thinks, “probably at the point where he says, ‘Well, we’re done.’
But Rubio pointed out that if either or both are “going serious about peace,” the US will help.

“If that doesn’t happen, we’re just going to move on,” Rubio declared.
“@potus was clear. It’s time to end the war between Russia and Ukraine. Today, Paris, @se_middleast, @spe_kellogg and I will meet with leaders in France, Britain, Germany and Ukraine to talk about how to stop killings and reach just and sustainable peace.”

The war continues to rage, with Ukrainian President Voldymi Zelensky in the post saying, “This is how Russia started this Good Friday – ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, Shaheds – hurting our people and cities.”

“European allies and the US should arm Ukraine to the greatest extent and help them protect the country from Russians and now North Korea and Chinese,” Bacon said in a recent tweet.
