Jake Paul revealed his next opponent.
Popular YouTuber Turning Boxer will take on the 39-year-old Julio César Chávez Jr., the son of former three-part world champions of former 39-year-old Julio César Chávez Jr.
“Five years ago, I stepped into the ring for my professional debut after one amateur fight. Every fight since then was a step towards becoming a world champion,” Paul said in a post to X on Friday morning. “I defeated the worst man on the planet and broke multiple records. Now I’m against the former world champion with 54 wins that Canelo can barely beat.”

The announcement of the match comes almost six months after Paul defeated boxing legend Mike Tyson in an eight-round battle. Paul won by unanimous decision at the record-breaking Netflix live event.

“Chavez Jr. is Mexican, but I, El Garo de Dorado and Mexican Can, will knock him out,” Paul continued. “I’m proud to defeat Julio in a way that Jr. never has, as I live in Dazn Pay-Per-view on Saturday, June 28th.”
This will become the second world champion Paul will take on in the ring.
In the meantime, Chavez Jr. is ready.

“First of all, I show what I can do now that I have both mentally and physically shown that everything is in the right place in my life,” Chavez Jr. said in a statement obtained by ESPN. “I feel rejuvenated and ten years younger. Secondly, I want to thank the MVP for taking the risk of fighting me. Unfortunately, because of their problem children, they have a big problem this June. They don’t know how to solve it.
The match will be held at the Honda Center in Anaheim on June 28th and aired on Dazn.
