Rep. Ro Khanna of D-Calif has been crossing the country for the past few months, leading to amplifying the Democrats’ message of resisting President Donald Trump’s aggressive and controversial actions in overturning long-standing policies and cutting federal workers.
But Kanna, a California Democrat, is his fifth term in the House and likely has national ambitions in 2028, making her announcements not only for Trump and Vice President JD Vance, Trump’s heirs, his own party, and his own party as well as his own.
“We have to have an all-out Democratic brand with a coherent platform and a future-oriented platform. Many leaders need to do that. They’re not old security guards, they’re new leaders, they’re and I hope to be part of it,” Kanna said in an interview with Fox News Digital.

When the leader of the party was asked if he needed to speak out more to fight back against the Trump administration, Kanna immediately said yes.
“We need more from our leadership, and if you know, you don’t want to talk about someone being taken from their home and being deported without legitimate procedures, you probably shouldn’t be in the election position as a Democrat right now,” he said. “We need to speak out not just about the economy, but Democrats. We need to speak out about civil liberties, immigration rights, university rights.”

However, Kanna also praised Senator Corey Booker’s recent record-breaking Marathon speech by Senator Corey Booker DN.J., and a large national rally co-headlined by Senator Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, DN.Y.

Democrats are now in the political wilderness following the election setback in November last year when Republicans gained control of the White House and Senate and defended a majority of vulnerable homes. Republicans also benefited among black and Hispanic voters, as well as young voters, and all traditional members of the Democratic foundation.
Democrats are increasingly angry and extremely energetic in response to Trump’s moves. That rage is directed not only on Trump and Republicans, but also on fellow Democrats. Many party bases feel that Congressional leaders are not effective or vocal enough to oppose the president.

And at City Hall this winter and early spring, energy is revealed in the City Hall held by both Democrats and Republicans in Congress.
A national poll conducted by Kinipiac University in February and last month by CNN and NBC News, showed a favorable rating for Democrats to sink to their all-time lows.
And a Gallup poll released Thursday found that Democratic Congressional leaders had sank to an all-time low.
Kanna, who is looking forward to next year’s midterm elections, where House Democrats aim to defeat a GOP razor-like majority in the House, said she will continue to have a vibrant pace with advances in the campaign.

“I’m already out in a red district. We’ve created three red districts in California. I headed to Pennsylvania. I was invited to go to Nebraska, Nevada and South Carolina,” he said. “So we’re campaigning in the Red District. Thousands of people are showing up. I’m very confident that we’ll be successful.”

Last week, Kanna gave two famous speeches at the vice president’s hometown of Yale Law School on Monday and Tuesday, where both politicians set a verbal fire in Vance as they completed their legal degrees.
Prior to Yale’s speech, in an interview with Fox News Digital in New Haven, Connecticut, Kanna was asked whether the attack on Vance was an early positioning move in 2028.
Kanna replied, “What I’m doing is to provide the Democrats with an intellectual foundation.”
