Time to celebrate everything is soon on Earth Day Tuesday.
In honor of Mother Earth, several businesses and organizations observe holidays with discounts, eco-friendly activities and offers around Southern California. Scroll down to find out a summary of Earth Day festivals.
Zero Waste Events at LA Sanitation
The LA City Department of Health is hosting a free event at Norman O. Houston Park.
Tree and plant giveaways, sustainability workshops and free burgers all become part of the festival. Additionally, Lasan has a variety of sanitary trucks for children to explore.

Transportation
A variety of public transport offers free transportation in honor of Mother Earth.
Metrolink, Metro, OC Bus and Omnitrans will offer free rides on Tuesday. Some agencies do not require tickets.

Culver City
Streets in some areas will be closed as a host Earth Day celebration at Culver City High School, Culver City Middle School and Farragut Elementary School. Street closures encourage people to walk, cycling and skating instead of driving.

Dana Point Beach and Creek Cleanup
Volunteers are being sought in Dorney State Beach to help clean the area. Garbage bags, water and light snacks will be provided to participants, as well as a free parking pass.

Earth Day Festival in Bolsachika
Three Huntington Beach area hotspots celebrate the environment with beach cleaning and information sessions on local wetlands and wildlife. These festivals take place at Bolsachica State Beach, Bolsachica Wetlands and Huntington Harbor Yacht Club.

Earth Day in Newport Beach in the Bay
The Newport Bai Conservancy and OC Parks are holding several environmentally-themed exhibitions to spread our knowledge of the Earth. To keep up with the good times, live music, scavenger hunts and crafts will be available at events.
