A naked suspect was shot after a home break-in incident in Chino on Tuesday.
Chino Police responded to a report of a break-in in the 4300 block of Lombardy Court at 11:36am
A resident called police said her husband shot a male suspect who broke into the house through the front window.
He was later identified as Svens Sokolovskis, 21, of Whittier.
When officers arrive at the house, they discover that Sokolovskis had stripped off all his clothes and appeared to be under the influence of drugs.
He was taken into custody and taken to a local hospital where he was injured in his lower limb with a gunshot wound. He remains stable on Tuesday night.
Once released from the hospital, Sokolovskis will face charges related to the robbery of the home, authorities said.
The case will be forwarded to the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office for review. No further details have been made as the investigation remains ongoing.
