Oscar Eduardo Ortega Anguiano was drunk, high and speeding on the 405 highway in Orange County in November 2021. In the spring of 2022, he was convicted of two counts of total vehicle manslaughter while drunk.
Fox News reported that Ortega Anguiano was released by the California government only three years later on Wednesday morning, with the victim’s family notified on Easter Sunday.
After the report was released, the Justice Department said it would indict Ortega Anguiano with federal charges to keep him behind longer.

Ice told Fox News that two teens had previously illegally entered the country twice before being killed in a fatal crash.
“His previous criminal convictions include the robbery in 2005, the vehicle theft in 2007, and the battery of the spouse in 2014,” Ice said.
“The immigration judge was deleted with Ortega on November 3, 2014. He filed several failed appeals and was taken to Mexico on December 2, 2016 and moved to Mexico on the same day. The immigration officials re-entered him illegally again after the latest removal of him on June 1, 2018.
