Minnesota employees avoided criminal charges after destroying at least six Tesla vehicles, the local district attorney announced this week, urging anger from local leaders who spoke to Fox News Digital.
The Hennepin County Attorney’s Office (HCAO) said it would seek a “repurpose” on the charges against Minnesota Human Services analyst Dylan Brian Adams after causing $20,000 in damages. According to the HCAO, the detour approach “helps individuals maintain their work and pay compensation.”
When contacted by Fox News Digital in comments, the Minnesota Department of Human Services did not clarify Adams’ employment status, but “we are currently considering the issue. We are expected to follow the code of conduct and to surrender ourselves to the highest ethical standards through word and behavior.”
President Donald Trump’s administration has identified Tesla vandals as “domestic terrorism” and denounced the decision of county attorney Mary Moriarty to hold Vandal accountable alongside the Justice Department.

“In Tim Waltz’s Minnesota, there is a two-tier judicial system that does everything possible to protect Democrats. As a victim of a domestic terrorist attack in Minnesota, I know that Minnesota’s judicial system will not work for me, me or conservatives. Qualls, the founder of Takecharge and a former Minnesota governor candidate, told Fox News Digital in a statement.

Qualls was targeted in an arson incident in 2024 that allegedly severely damaged three conservative group offices in Minnesota. Qualls said Wednesday that authorities never found the arsonist.
“Minnesota is once again bumping into national trends. While the Department of Justice and the FBI investigate the national vandalism and attacks on Tesla as domestic terrorist acts, Minnesota Progressive is giving them a free pass.”
Adam Schwartze, Republican candidate for the US Senate in Minnesota, told Fox News Digital that Minnesota Vandals “get a free pass if there is a approved political philosophy.”
“This would have been an obvious opportunity for the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office to make it clear that its right to political protest will not include the right to destroy personal property. We must reaffirm that commitment to justice means ensuring that all individuals, regardless of their political affiliation or employment situation, are retained to the same legal standard.”

Republicans told Fox News Digital that Moriarty refused to criminally accused Minnesota employees and could spark domestic terrorism following a string of targeted violence.
“This is a dangerous precedent to tell all Minnesotans that political violence is accepted here. One of his employees is hurting Tesla and the Democratic national lawyers after Gov. Tim Waltz induced the loss of Tesla shares to a disadvantage in his own pension. Minnesota Sen. Mark Koran was off the hook as allies and supporters broke the law.
John Nagel, retired Minnesota police li and former candidate for the Minnesota Legislature, said diversion was “a great tool for young and stupid people, but this individual was old enough to do responsible work and get to know him well.”

“This sends a bad message to a group of already hostile politically charged individuals,” Nagel said. “As a police officer, I told some people that if they had spent several nights in prison, they would not have committed a crime the second and third time.
Brodsky added that Moriarty’s latest legal blunder coincides with her legacy in Walz’s hometown. Moriarty, who handed Adams a “pre-charge detour” on Monday, is backed by a money-linked group of mega donor George Soros, one of the most prominent supporters of progressive issues in the United States.
“Since taking office in 2023, it’s an understatement to say progressive county attorney Mary Moriarty has been softened with crime. She has consistently demonstrated the excessive tolerance of violent criminal suspects accused of sexual assault and murder, one of many reasons why Minneapolis police are allegedly victims with county offices.

Nagel questioned how many taxes were invested in finding Adams “just to wipe out the efforts by progressive prosecutors,” and how many taxes were invested in leaving Minnesota dealers to alert them, saying “I know someone can come to their lot and come and do some damage.”
When Republicans tore the state’s “soft to crime” practices, they linked Waltz’s own anti-Tersa rhetoric to a string of violence against Elon Musk’s hefty electric vehicle business. During a string of attacks on Tesla, when its inventory is falling over, Waltz told Wisconsin Town Hall he would check out Tesla stock when he wants to feel good.
“The waltz government’s rhetoric about Teslastock, Democrats across the country, “We need to get up and take it on the streets” are all burning fire. Angry elected Democrats encourage this kind of behavior.

Brozky said each Tesla’s destroyed ones were felony, saying, “These crimes did not even occur in a vacuum. Progressives focus on Elon Musk and Doge’s efforts to reduce the bloated federal workforce.”
“It’s not a coincidence that the suspect in this case is a Minnesota employee of the Department of Human Services. Furthermore, these attacks began on the same day that Minnesota Governor Tim Waltz cheered on the decline of Tesla’s inventory, Elon Musk’s fall, wrestling Elon Musk at a Wisconsin event, and made a controversial statement in the case of Wisconsin crimes, if it exists on March 18. Needless to say, this will undoubtedly spark progrish activists to engage in further attacks,” Brozky said.
