A San Bernardino County man faces accusations of felony vandalism, among other things, after he allegedly captured him while slashing the tires of his ex-girlfriend’s car.
The April 22 incident unfolded around 8:20am, and Upland Police Station officials noted in a previous Twitter post on X.
In the footage, the man can be seen bent towards the passenger tire before reappearing on the front driver’s side tire, leaving the camera frame and then reappearing on the front driver’s side tire, which again jabs the wheel with a sharp object.

When contacted by police later at his home, he denied the incident and said he had been resident all morning, officials said.

When asked if he wanted to see video evidence of vandalism, the man stopped before asking if he could grab his jacket. At least it looked like the exact flannel jacket worn in the video footage.
“We don’t know what people are thinking, but at that point he probably wondered what his future plea was,” police said.
