Court documents filed April 1 show that Indiana transgender inmates convicted of reckless murder of a baby on alleged sexual assault caused by the president’s “transphobic” and “radical rhetoric” are suing President Donald Trump.

A White House spokesman said when asked for comment on the lawsuit, “President Trump has vowed to protect biological women from gender ideological extremism and restore biological truth to the federal government.”
The inmates are seeking $3.5 million in compensatory damages from Trump along with other defendants, including prison employees and 12 other “gang-affiliated inmates” who have been allegedly “stabbed” and sexually assaulted over four days in January.
“President Trump, and we’re jumping over the tranny, so we don’t get in trouble. Even if we’re patriots, Trump will relent and give us medals,” Cordelione argued that one of the criminals was in the suit.
Cordellion further alleged that the unit team manager and case manager stated the same thing on alleged assault.
“I’ve seen your news, but personally I don’t think US taxpayers have to pay for your surgery,” the case manager said.

The lawsuit alleges that the offender violated Cordelione’s 8th amendment rights and committed gross negligence under Indiana’s tort law.
Cordellioné’s long-standing legal battle began in August 2023 with support from the ACLU, when Cordellion sued the Indiana Department of Corrections over a state law prohibiting inmates from taxpayer-funded transgender surgeries.
Since then, Cordelione, who served a 55-year sentence for the reckless murder of her 11-month stepchild, has filed several complaints, including a civil suit against a prison pastor who allegedly barred wearing a hijab outside the bed quarter, despite identifying him as a Muslim woman.

Indiana Attorney General Todd Lokita has defended state law and filed a brief in January with the Court of Appeals defending Indiana law banning sex change operations for prisoners. The Attorney General argued that the 8th Amendment “has not required the state to provide experimental treatment in general. When several doctors say the prisoner is a poor candidate for surgery, that certainly isn’t here,” the spokesman previously told Fox News Digital.
In March, Clinton appointee Judge Richard Young ordered IDOC to arrange for Cordelione’s sexual assignment surgery on “early opportunities.”
Fox News Digital said earlier this month it would not comply with a federal order to house prisoners based on biological sex, and could expect “immediate changes” and cuts in funding. Trump’s order also prohibits federal funds from being used for inmates’ sexually allocated surgeries.
