Authorities say the driver is in custody after running into a bookstore just outside Los Angeles International Airport early Friday morning.
The Los Angeles Police Department said officers were dispatched to the Sepulveda and Latigiella areas in Westchester around 1:11am after reports that the vehicle had hit a building and caused a fire.
Upon arrival, officers found the vehicle and its driver. The vehicle crashed the car into a book jewel on West 87th Avenue.
No injuries have been reported.

The driver was taken into custody. Police believe the driver may have been affected by drugs and alcohol, but it has not yet been confirmed whether an arrest was made.
The building was damaged. A video shot by KTLA shows the front door glass being destroyed and crushed on a table and bookshelves.
Meanwhile, the video captured and posted on the Citizen app showed the sedan burning at the intersection of Sepulveda and La Tijera. It is not yet clear whether the driver tried to escape the scene of the damaged vehicle before causing the fire.
