Hell Freeze: The other day, at the White House, Donald Trump “started charm attacks primarily directed at Goldberg,” like Atlantic Editor-in-Chief Jeffrey Goldberg. “There was no hostility or call names or leveling him on our magazines regularly.”
That’s according to Atlantic reporters Ashley Parker and Michael Scheller, who wrote cover stories for the magazine that was posted yesterday.
For all the insights gathered from the interviews, nothing is more appealing than how it happened.
They called the president on his cell phone. (What? Who should I go to court to get that? The reporter hasn’t said.)
Trump says he conducted his first phone interview to see if Liberals were fair.
President Trump tells the Atlantic that he runs the country “and the world”
So to be here, I declare that the entire seemingly endless work is fair. The president hasn’t shot it in a society of truth, at least so far.
But he tore new polls from the “New York Times Fail” and “ABC/Washington Post” as “fake polls from fake news organizations” and says “we’ll be investigated for election fraud and add Fox News Pollster.” In a post-ABC survey, his lowest approval rate was 39%.
Meanwhile, we may now look back at Trump’s 2024 victory as inevitable, but since January 6th, it hasn’t been anything. In a cell call, “The President looked exhilarating at everything he managed to do in the first two months of his second term.”

And then the deal came: “As usual, Trump was hunting for the deal. If he liked the stories we wrote, he said he might talk to us again.”
Goldberg explains the session: “What I found at this particular meeting was Trump, who he is good at his job and wants to convince us that it is good for the country.
“However, the four of us who see more frequently have posted on the social media platform he owns about Ashley being a “radical left-handed man” (she isn’t).
The state of war: how Trump fights the battle at a nine-year-old
The most interesting Trump Soundbite is a comparison of his two terms.
“For the first time I had to do two things, I ran through this country and survived. There were all these bent guys.
Parker and Scheller have conducted many other interviews, including Steve Bannon. “Our reality is we won,” he cited a conspiracy theory that the FBI incited the crowd on January 6th. Reporters said it was simply not true.
“There’s something interesting here right now,” Bannon said. “Who won that argument? I think we have it…
“This time it’s like, ‘Hey, f**k you, us in Greenland… when you come back from such a long odds, you clearly feel like, ‘I can do anything.’ “
What about four criminal investigations, including convictions against the weakest? Trump says his numbers continue to grow.
Donald Trump’s interview: last minute blitz and new closing message
“To my surprise, yes,” Trump said. “Normally, it will knock you out. You won’t even live the next day. You will announce your resignation and you will come back and fight for your name.” …Yeah, it made me stronger and made me much stronger. ”
He also said in a phone interview:
After the 2016 election, Trump told oil executives at Mar-a-Lago.
If I’m not president, you’re being f***ed. Look at your statement of profits and failure. If she were president, do you understand what would have happened to you? What’s the problem with you? ”) She was of course Kamala Harris.

One turning point: Joe Biden did not squat when he went to East Palestine, Ohio after derailing a train carrying toxic chemicals.
At the Kennedy Center, “I’ve always been a bullet each and a bull**t and I couldn’t enjoy the show, so it was my first time not being able to go there.” There he fired the Democrats and served as chairman.
It’s okay, enough quotes. Wait and capture the tone of another piece:
“I won 38% of the male black vote. No one knew that was possible. There are a lot of them. I got 56% of Hispanics. What about that? All the counties along the Texas border are Hispanic. All the numbers he cited were wrong, but the general thrust of his observations was correct.”
Reporters recorded how things went south for the president, particularly regarding tariffs and the economy, and how he pressured Republicans on the hill to support his candidate with the main threat.

After a phone interview in March, reporters tried Trump’s phone again. I just received a voicemail. But at 1:38am he tried them out. There are no messages.
Trump believes he can win even his worst enemy. In 2015 or 2016, I saw him make a beeline for a curl robe in the New York Green Room. In the worst case scenario, he thinks he can neutralize the person. Or, next time you will soften him or her. He enjoys the challenge.
Mainstream media can’t withstand Donald Trump almost evenly. He invites some of his own negative headlines while providing unprecedented access, but many of the presses have returned to resistance mode.

Still, the original pitch of the Atlantic cannot be denied, and he is “the most consequential president of the 21st century.”
