The Department of Agriculture (USDA) said on Tuesday that $2.5 billion in “wasteful” grants directed at gender-based causes.
According to Doge, the USDA has removed 420 grants with a savings of $2.3 billion.
Among the programs where the money was used, $361,000 was directed at “BIPOCs (black, indigenous, and people of color) of “gender nonconformance, nonbinary, two-spirit, two-spirit” farmers in New York.

Another $150,000 was used in “a gender lens curriculum designed to be interdisciplinary about food, agriculture, natural resources and human science.”
Even Ghana has benefited from the “climate resilience and sustainable agriculture” of African countries in $100,000.

Additionally, the federal agency eliminated 179 contracts, earning $1.87 billion in ceiling savings and $280 million.

The federal government spent $207,000 on a consulting contract with the US Department of Health and Human Services for the “Grant Writing Workshop” and a $89,000 Treasury contract for “Namibia Country Program Manager.”
Another $1.8 million trade development agreement was spent on “Energy and Climate Advisory Services.”
