The iconic Barblastri Sand has released new music and she works with dozens of big names.
Hozier, Paul McCartney, Sam Smith, Bob Dylan, Laufey, Mariah Carey, Ariana Grande, Tim McGraw, James Taylor, Sting, Josh Groban and Seal will join singers for her new album, The Secret of Life: Partners, Volume 2.
“I’ve always loved singing duets with talented artists. They inspire me in a unique and different way…and make your time in the studio a joy!” she wrote in an Instagram post on Wednesday morning.
The eight-time Grammy Award winner said the new project gave her the opportunity to work and play with “old friends, fellow labels and new artists.”
“I admire them all… and hopefully I enjoy listening to our collaborations as much as I enjoyed recording with my amazing partner,” she continued.
She collaborated with Hozier on her now available single, “The Fars I Saw Face.”
“Barbra Streisand is one of the most enduring and iconic vocalists of our time, who defined the era with her pure power of voice, talent, charisma and vision. “Ewan McColl’s ‘First I See Your Face’ was famous for its stunning Roberta’s Flack recordings, and always mystical. It is one of the most beautiful love songs ever written for me.
“The Secret of Life: Partners, Volume 2” will be released on June 27th. This is Streisand’s 37th album.
