Rep. Mikie Sherrill, of DN.J., has proposed for the third time that President Donald Trump will be each to stop Republicans following the mid-term 2026 as he is about to become New Jersey’s next governor.
“I think you have to test yourself. I don’t think it’s enough to just have a tough fight. I think there are a lot of tough fights,” Sheryl told supporters on April 26 at a campaign event at Station 34, Ridgeway Volunteer Fire Company in Manchester Township, according to the New York Post.
Cheryl, 53, was first elected to the US home in the midterm in 2018, winning the state’s 11th Congressional District, which was long considered a Republican base. She voted for both Trump’s bluff each during his first administration.
“When I first fired off the president – I knew what I was saying,” she said last week at a campaign event where members of the audience cut off “doing over again.”

“Yeah, exactly. We’ll see,” she replied. “Maybe we’ll go for a triple line.”
The lawmaker added:
Earlier this week, Rep. Sri Taneder (D-Mich.) filed a perk each article against Trump for several high crimes and misdemeanor allegations, including eliminating the federal program without Congressional permission, violating the First Amendment rights and refusing to comply with a court order to promote the return of Kilmer Abrego Garcia after being sent to prison.
The administration has claimed that Abrego Garcia is a member of the MS-13 gang, but the judge previously recognized him as a form of protected status known as “withholding for removal” after determining that if he was deported to his home country he would likely be a target for Salvador’s gang. Democrat lawmakers, numerous legal experts, and other critics of the move to send Abrego Garcia to Salvador’s prisons say this was done without giving him the opportunity to exercise his due process rights.

Trump’s “illegal actions destroyed the judicial system, violated the separation of power, putting individual power and self-interest above public services,” Thanedar said in a statement in introducing an article on the President for each.
At her event, Cheryl explained how a Democratic-led nation could challenge Trump’s agenda.
“I was on the floor on January 6th, and he’s not going to leave in four years – Zero,” Cheryl said.
“Again, we’re trying to make sure we’re there, mobilize, bring people together when he’s trying to split us, find people around, and, in some way, block them in America and work on it,” Sheryl said.

“In my head, I have to say it all comes from federalism. It’s in the state, and I’ll take them to court because they’re trying to interfere with our electoral system,” she added.
Others facing Cheryl in the Democratic gubernatorial primary include Rep. Josh Gottimer, DN.J., Jersey Mayor Steve Flop, Newark Mayor Russ Barraka, former Mayor Montclair, New Jersey Education Association President Sean Spiller and former state senator step-child Swinney.
Phil Murphy, the current Democratic government, is subject to a limited period.
The New Jersey Democratic primary will take place on June 10th.
