D-Ariz. Gov. Katie Hobbs’ reelection campaign slams people who are white, but tend to blame white people.
Hobbs, a vocal progressive and anti-Trump leader, won Michael Bayer in April as communications director for 2026, despite his history of chasing people not only to Republicans but also to be white.
Looking through Beyer’s X account, staff criticise social media criticism in 2014 against various demographics.
Trump will support Republican rivals in the Arizona governor’s race after the person in charge. Biggs enters the contest: “I had a problem.”

Bayer accused “religious rights” of uniting through “confidence in white hegemony,” blasting voters of voluntary democratic socialist Bernie Sanders by having “white qualifications,” and accusing Taylor Swift and other “whites” of “romanticizing African conquests.”
Bayer also supports Gay White’s anti-gay rhetoric targeting Republicans, and in social media posts he stands above each other hiding in a trench coat, he is running for a position as leader of the nation’s longest-established pro-gay GOP nonprofit. In another post, Beyer complained that there were too many “white men” in the 1980s news segment on HIV, while another Beyer proposed that “white suburban voters” in Louisiana have taken over “local newspapers.”

The recent employment of the Arizona governor is the latest in a series of turbulent staffing issues that Hobbs faced as governor. In 2022, two-thirds of Hobbs’ governor’s campaign staff left in just five months, with some reporting the campaign’s work as “emotionally abusive.” Meanwhile, Hobbs has also been forced to fire past employees for inflammatory social media posts.

“White Evangelicals are the only group that wants primarily anti-gay discrimination, according to polls, Beyer posted on Then-Twitter in 2017. “Another thing, it’s a belief in white supremacy that unites religious rights,” he added in a tweet.
In addition to criticizing religious conservatives for being racist, Bayer said in 2015 that Republicans generally “think” [sic] They just answer white voters. In a subsequent post, Bayer denounced Secretary of State Marco Rubio for simply appealing to “white people” who allegedly “made our colonialism romantic.”

Turning to the liberals, Beyer also has options for White Bernie Sanders supporters. In a 2016 Twitter post, they all said they have “white qualifications.” He suggested in another post about the same time that the only reason Sanders won New Hampshire in the 2016 election was because the state was “91% white.”
In 2015, Bayer followed Taylor Swift and the other “whites” and “romantic” colonialism. “The only people who make Africa’s conquest romantic,” Bayer said in a 2015 post. His post was posted by Beyer in another tweet that included a link and title to NPR with the headline “Taylor Swift Dreams of Very White Africa.”

Despite many Bayer’s claims suggesting that white people are racist, he argued in 2017 that “whites are very bad at identifying racist/racist.”

Fox News Digital contacted the Hobbs campaign to question whether it would reconsider its decision to hire Beyer, but it never received a response.
Beyer himself did not respond when contacting the comment.
In addition to Beyer, Hobbs has a history of hiring other staff who made controversial remarks on social media. She also has problems with high sales in her office.

One of Hobbs’ former press secretaries was fired in 2023 after posting an image of a woman depicting two pistols from her waist. The social media post concluded that a gender-disrupted individual fired fire at a Nashville elementary school on the same day. Some critics then cited a person’s gender discomfort as a catalyst for a possible horrifying event.
Hobbs’ offices are frequently affected by unusually high turnover rates among staff. In 2022, two-thirds of Hobbs’ governor’s campaign staff left in just five months, and it was reported that some of the departure staff, who described the campaign work as “emotionally abusive.”
The culture was clearly very bad, and staff said they had to cover their lives in the middle of the election to seek employment elsewhere.

Hobbs lost his staff during an ongoing legislative session, and in 2023 Hobbs’ legislative director resigned hours before the release of the state’s budget.
At least one staff member of Hobbs went from work on her campaign to another job with Arizona politics.
