The man has been arrested on suspicion of allegedly selling illegal drugs to residents of Ventura County.
Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies were investigating Richard Edward Linares, 48, of Oxnard, on suspicion of selling illegal substances.
On April 29th, a search warrant was provided at his Oxnard home in the 1400 block of Cedar Street.
During the search, detectives were seized beyond 8 ounces (236 grams) of cocaine, 1 ounce (35 grams) of methamphetamine, psilocybin mushrooms, Adderall tablets and other unidentified substances.

Detectives also reportedly found a substantial amount of packaging material indicating illegal drug sales. Over $74,000 in US currency was found. The agent believed this was revenue from drug sales.
Linares was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sale. He remains in custody and awaits trial.
