Trump-appointed judges say administration blocks use of alien enemies laws for deportation

The Trump-appointed judge appears to have attracted President Donald Trump’s rage after blocking the administration’s “illegal” use of the administration’s alien enemy law.

US District Judge Fernando Rodriguez Jr. said that while it does not prevent the administration from illegally deporting US individuals, alien enemy laws cannot be used as a basis for banishing members of suspected suspects from the country. Rodriguez was the first judge to rule over the Trump administration’s use of alien enemies to control the law to force members of the gang.

“The question this lawsuit presents is whether the president can use the AEA specific law to bind and eliminate members of Venezuelan aliens. [Tren de Aragua]. Regarding that question, historical records make clear through the declaration that the president’s call to the AEA exceeds the scope of the decree, and Rodriguez, who was appointed Trump in 2018, writes in his order, against the obvious and normal meaning of the terms of the decree.

Trump expressed his anger at the decision in a pointed, truthful social post, questioning how he could stop the deportation of “criminals, including murderers.”

“Where did they come from, just as judges don’t allow the US to expel criminals, including murderers, from our country? “Americans will have to get used to life that is very different, crime-filled. This is not something our founders had in mind!!!”

It is not clear whether the Post is a direct response to Rodriguez’s order, but the judge’s decision is the latest on illegal immigration and deportation.

Noem will dump support for foreign immigrants to Democrats

Just before Trump’s 100th day inauguration, the White House claimed that 139,000 deportations had been made since the president took office.

During his campaign, Trump has pledged to speed and strict crackdowns on illegal immigrants, which he had focused under the Biden administration. In March, the administration adopted the controversial Biden-era app, added a “self-abolition” feature, allowing illegal immigrants to voluntarily leave the country rather than face ice.

Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Christy Noem said at Trump’s 100th day of office that the president “completely reversed” the situation at the border. She added that DHS has refocused the Coast Guard on “borders and drug blockages,” and noted that the cartel is increasingly using maritime smuggling routes in response to stricter immigration enforcement.
