The rain continued overnight on parts of Southern California, making wet commutes on Monday mornings.
The enveloping moisture from the system, mainly in southern Arizona, brought moderate rain from the light on Sunday, with showers continuing overnight, especially inland.
The National Weather Service had to add another .2-.3 inches of rain in the San Bernardino area from Sunday afternoon to Monday. Big Bear Lake was able to see nearly half an inch of rain.
“Maybe there’s a thunderstorm that will develop late this afternoon,” said KTLA meteorologist Henry DiCarlo.

In most parts of the region, cloudy morning skies are expected to turn into sunlight this afternoon, but temperatures can fall below normal.
“The warming trends take shape throughout the week, with normal temperatures occurring inland one week later,” the NWS said in its forecast discussion on Monday morning.
Temperatures have risen significantly by Thursday and Friday, with downtown Los Angeles going up in the mid-’80s by Saturday. Inland areas, the 90s saw highs over the coming weekends.
