First on FOX: The Department of Homeland Security offers a $1,000 salary to illegal aliens who choose to take self-swash from the US, which DHS says will save thousands of dollars, assuming the cost of commercial flights.
The department says this is 70% cheaper for American taxpayers. Now, DHS averages over $17,000, making it arrest, detained and deported someone. DHS told Fox News that even if the aliens are on a scholarship, it is expected to cost only about $4,500 on average to pay to get rid of themselves.
Scholarships will not be paid until the individual has been confirmed to be self-declared. Aliens use the CBP Home Self-Deportation app to access this assistance. DHS is hoping that thousands of self-removals will increase significantly with this announcement… Read more
