A missing girl was found during the arrest of a suspected human trafficking suspect in Los Angeles, police announced Monday.
The Anaheim Police Department said the investigation into the incident began on April 28, when the 17-year-old victim reportedly disappeared from Irvine’s home.
Orange County Investigators learned that teens whose identity has not been released could be exploited for commercialized sex purposes.
Authorities began investigating human trafficking and began searching for the missing girl.
The following day, April 29, the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force discovered that the missing girl and her trafficker were together in Los Angeles.
Although details regarding the arrest are limited, police have identified the suspect as Alex Polidore, 23, of Hawthorne, and pointed out that he is the convicted felon.

Investigators retrieved the girl whose health was not immediately provided and booked a polydoor at the Anaheim Police Station detention facility for parole violations and multiple trafficking crimes.
On May 1, the Orange County District Attorney’s Office officially charged Polydor with trafficking of minors. Police said he was in custody on $1 million bail.
