Two law enforcement agencies familiar with the case say the man was arrested on suspicion of felony vandalism after crashing into the gate on Monday at “Friend” actor Jennifer Aniston’s Bel Air Home.
The driver was identified as 48-year-old Jimmy Waynekerwill by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The records did not indicate the initial court date or bail amount.
Police said the crash was reported in the Westside community in Los Angeles before 12:30pm. Property records show that the house is owned by “friend” actor Jennifer Aniston.
LAPD did not identify the homeowner, but the individual said they were in the home at the time.
The driver was held by a private security team on the property until police arrived. The man complained of pain, but details about the possibility of injury were not immediately available.
It was not immediately clear why the driver hit the gate.
