The 48-year-old man is in custody after allegedly plunging his car into the gates of actress Jennifer Aniston’s Bel Air mansion.
Jimmy Wayne Carweil was arrested around 12:30pm Monday after a caller reported a suspected robber who passed through a gate near Sunset Boulevard and Bellagio Road.
Several media reported that the mansion belongs to “friends” and “morning show” actresses. The motivation behind the incident remains unknown.

“You don’t randomly break into none of your gates,” said Aviva Kopaken, a local dog walker. “(Celebrities) are very well known. They’re always heading towards the public. They’re definitely vulnerable to these attacks.”
Local private security detained the suspect until officers arrived. Carwyle was taken into custody without further incident.
He reportedly complained of pain after hitting the gate violently. Police confirmed that one person was at the time but was not injured.
Carwyle was booked for felony vandalism and was held without bail, according to court records.
