President Donald Trump revealed his new choice for the surgeon general on Wednesday, saying he would now nominate Dr. Casey’s measure for the job.
“Casey is qualified as the perfect ‘Maha’ and will work closely with our incredible Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F. The instrument, a supporter of the voice “American Health,” and along with his brother Carrie Means, played a key role in helping to shape the administration’s agenda surrounding health. In 2024, Casey and Carrie co-written a book on the chronic disease epidemic entitled “Good Energy,” and Casey is also the co-founder of a health technology company called Levels.
Calley Means was previously tapped by the administration and served as Secretary Kennedy’s top special advisor.

Trump previously announced that former Fox News contributor Dr. Janet Neshwat will be appointed as the surgeon general.
It is unclear why Nesheiwat’s appointment was cited. Fox News Digital has contacted the White House for more details.
Trump added in his post that Secretary Kennedy “looks forward to working with Dr. Janet Neshwatt in another HHS abilities.”

Meanwhile, in a follow-up post for X, Neshwat also said he is “looking forward to” continuing to support Trump while working closely with Secretary Kennedy “in a senior policy role.”

“My focus remains on improving the health and well-being of all Americans, and its mission has not changed,” Neshewat concluded in her public social media statement.
Nesheiwat is the sister-in-law of recently fired national security adviser Michael Waltz, and the president has shown that he will now be appointed the next ambassador to the United Nations after he dropped his first nominee, New York GOP MP Ellis Stefanik.
