The House voted to make President Donald Trump’s name change forever on Friday morning.
As expected, Democrats did not vote for the bill.
The law is R-Ga, Trump’s Voice Alliance in Congress. was led by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.
“This is very important to Americans. Americans take pride in their country, they deserve to protect them with the waters we own, the military, the coast guard and all the businesses that thrive along these waters,” Green said during a discussion about the bill.

“But today’s Democrats are furious. They are furious because they love the cartel more than the American people, and more than any other people in the world.”
Meanwhile, democratic lawmakers have breaded the law as a waste of time.
“Republicans believe this juvenile law is the best use of this house’s era. This is the only job we do today.”
“What a joke, Republicans are worried about the 400-year-old words on the map. I’m worried about the struggles of my family and all American communities.”

The majority of Republicans supported the bill, with some claiming that the name change would help enhance tourism and a sense of patriotism in the region.
But earlier this week, Fox News Digital was said to have personally expressed criticism of what some GOP lawmakers saw as embracing symbolic bills, primarily in place of more meaningful laws to drive Trump’s agenda.
“I’ve heard criticism from every corner of the meeting. Criticism from conservatives to practical ones,” R-Neb’s Rep. Don Bacon told Fox News Digital on Tuesday. “It’s like sophomoral. The United States is bigger and better than this.”

However, Greene has returned to detractors in response to a report from Fox News Digital.

“Some of my Republican colleagues don’t want to vote for my US Gulf law, one of President Trump’s favorite executive orders. They say they’ll rather vote for “more serious EOS.” Boys, I have that bill on that eo too, so are you ready to criminalize child sex changes,” she wrote to X.
The law must be sent to the Senate and reach the 60-vote threshold with democratic support before hitting the president’s desk.
