The Inland Empire isn’t the only place where you can see burnt temperatures this weekend.
The Los Angeles County Public Health issued its own heat advisory on Thursday, warning locations of the next heat-related hazards on Friday and Saturday.
Santa Clarita Valley West Santa Monica Mountains East Santa Monica Mountains Calabasas/Agoura Hills West San Fernando Valley East Santa Fernando Valley Santa Suna Mountain San Gabriel Valley
Residents in these areas and elsewhere are recommended to stay hydrated, wear light clothing and stay cautious about fever-related illnesses of themselves and others.
Public health recommends residents use the National Weather Service’s He-Risk Tool to better assess certain risks.
“It’s important to take care of ourselves, but it’s equally important that we reach out to those in need. We must be aware of those who are likely to get sick due to the heat, including the elderly, moods, pregnant women, children, and living alone. “But if we try to keep hydrated and cool, we can protect ourselves and our loved ones, friends and neighbors. If you have elderly or uncomfortable family members or neighbors, check them regularly to make sure they are safe and adequate.”
